Our client in a financial institution is seeking to urgently fill the role of General Manager. The role is primarily responsible for the efficient and effective leadership and management strategy. The General manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures, and set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Oversee the daily operations of the company and the works of the executives by establishing policies that promote individual company culture and vision in congruence of the company Goals
- Works directly with the CEO to develop, implement, and execute profitable strategies to the growth of the company.
- Coordinate all our activities, operations in all branch locations.
- Lead the business entities and encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction, retention & company goals.
- Managing company cost and preparing timely and accurate financial performance reports as well as lead, develop and implement reconciliation strategies, cash flow management processes, tax and budget planning and execution.
- Advise the company on long-term business and financial planning, as well as establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the finance team to proffer the professional attention to the external audit team and ensure proper effective and efficient audit processes and procedures when engaged.
- Proffer financial planning strategies, as well as perform adequate risk management by analyzing the Company’s liabilities and investments, and give advice on the investment strategies by considering the cash and liquidity risk implications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor degree, Msc and professional courses will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in managing organizational finance, operations and strategies in any sector
Requirements
- Proven record of outstanding experience & performance in investment banking, trading & treasury
- Demonstrate professional experience in leadership, management and corporate transformation
- Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
- Ability to prepare strategic plans, drive company growth, policies & strategic partnerships
- Salary Expectation – 250k net with HMO.
- The qualified candidates must resident in Lagos. If they resident near head office in Gbagada will be added advantage.
